What causes early pregnancy heartburn?

Heartburn in early pregnancy is a common complaint. The hormone progesterone is released as soon a woman becomes pregnant and can cause many early pregnancy symptoms which include pregnancy heartburn. Progesterone causes relaxation of the cardiac sphincter of the stomach which is the muscle between the stomach and the esophagus (food pipe). Relaxation of this muscle allows for some gastric acid and food to flow backwards and re-enter the esophagus (food pipe). Gastric acid irritates the lining of the esophagus causing a burning sensation in the center of the chest called pregnancy heartburn.

As your baby grows bigger and takes up more room in the abdominal area, the stomach itself is displaced and squashed. The growing uterus can permanently press on the cardiac sphincter of the stomach and allow gastric juices and food to constantly leak back into the esophagus (wind pipe) which may cause severe heartburn during pregnancy.

Some facts about Brand logos!

The large companies’ strategies to promote their brand definitely influence our liking patterns in so delicate way that we never know about it. We see latest must have “mobile phones” on billboards while driving to and from offices. The Drink mat over lunch shows sparkling drinks to buy, is too a form of brand promotion. And our subconscious is delivered messages to adopt new inductions without our knowledge. We only recognize the logo of the top brands around the world and even don’t bother to read what is written on it. It is the sense of familiarity brings in the power of strong brand awareness and hence trust and confidence. We mostly buy some product just because we have good experience about it, you can take the example of “golden arches” or the “white tick”. You’ll be amazed to know that when a blind folded taste test was taken 4/5 couldn’t tell any difference between the tins of beans of different brands available in standards supermarket’s economy baked beans tin. You can find a vast variety of tin beans in the market bit there’s a huge difference is in price, a Hienz can is three times costly than the prices of economy alternatives. I leave you to guess that is the answer behind, why are the small green cans still flying off the shelves bringing 500 Million Dollars a year? Interestingly when it comes to a decision making which one to buy, purchasers prefer to buy the familiar instead of new, it’s the confidence and trust on familiar product is better than other. Brand Loyalty is much stronger than just the word familiarity, people form emotional attachment to products. So it’s fact that when we buy a brand we are presented with a lifestyle with it resulting that emotional attachment. Brand awareness is another important factor in buying decision yet strong enough to neglect the price differences. We often happily pay way more than the same products available in the market just because it holds a familiar logo in the side. The simple technique to promote is simple, Exposure, as much as you can, to develop an urge that the customer say by himself that I like this, I trust it and would love to buy this brand. To maximize the exposure companies get their logo printed on the objects under common usage in home or office know as promotional merchandise. Every time we see a logo, it casts in our mind even stronger image.

Hiring an Electrician. Do it Right

Peace of mind. Background checks

Remember: an electrician is the person that will work in your home. You should trust this person to let him work inside your home and around your children. Make sure the contractor you hire does background checks and drug tests its employees.

License

A license is an endorsement of the quality of work. However, it also provides a financial protection for the homeowner. Having electrical work performed by an unlicensed contractor could result in voiding your homeowners insurance. Make sure the contractor you hire is also bonded and insured.

Licensed, bonded electrical contractors get permits and take responsibility for electrical jobs they perform. Make sure your contractor employs licensed electricians to do the work.

Warranty

Any good electrician should provide a warranty. Really good electricians/electrical contractors provide both labor and material/parts warranty. Make sure the electrician provides these warranties in writing. For example, Mr. Electric Seattle has the warranty statement right on the invoice every customer gets a copy of.

Quality of materials

A good electrician/contractor always uses contractor-grade materials. That’s why they usually give the higher price automatically. This is where a good electrical contractor “has a problem” while bidding with other contractors. Remember: a good contractor will never cut corners and do something unsafe in order to accommodate your budget. However, they might suggest on how to modify your plans to meet both safety requirements and your budget.

General advices:

Think twice before accepting the lowest bid/price

You usually get what you pay for. A higher bid may be worth the price in better materials, workmanship and reliability. A large number of complaints filed against contractors are the result of homeowner taking the lowest bid and then being unhappy with the low quality of work electrician provides.

Save your time and money by combining electrical projects.

Think of extra outlets, lighting or wiring that you may want for the near future. You can even make a list of your specific needs. Electricians usually charge less when they do something as an additional task.
